World's hottest chilli is "Bhoot jolokia" or "Ghost chilies", available only in Assam, India.
Bhoot Jolokia was accepted by the Guinness Book Of World Records as the hottest chili. Only cultivated in the North Eastern part of India, Assam. Bhoot Jolokia is very tiny, just size of your thumb. Recently the Indian army has decided to use Bhoot Jolokia to make tear gas like weapons in order to immobilize suspects.
